What this is

A private video-call tool for the family and friends of Roman Chertkov. It is not a public service, it is not sold, and it is not advertised. Access requires a key or a PIN.

Who is responsible

Roman Chertkov, Dubai, UAE. Contact: roman@chertkoff.com. The server is rented from netcup GmbH and located in Nuremberg, Germany.

What the server sees

• Calls are peer-to-peer. Audio and video go directly between participants and are never recorded or stored. When a direct connection is impossible, the media is relayed through the TURN server in encrypted form and is not retained.
• Chat messages are passed between participants live and are not written to disk.
• Connection logs: IP address, browser identification, room name and timestamps, kept for up to 14 days so faults can be diagnosed, then deleted automatically.
• In your browser only: the access key and language choice are stored in localStorage so you do not have to type them again. Nothing is sent to third parties; there are no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Fonts are served from this server.

Why

Legitimate interest in operating a private tool securely and keeping it working. Logs are the minimum needed for security and diagnostics.

Your rights

You can ask what is stored about you, ask for it to be deleted, or object to the processing — write to the address above. Since almost nothing is retained, most requests are satisfied by simply waiting for the 14-day window to pass.

Что видит сервер

• Звонки идут напрямую между участниками. Звук и видео не записываются и не хранятся. Если прямое соединение невозможно, поток идёт через TURN-сервер в зашифрованном виде и нигде не сохраняется.
• Сообщения чата передаются между участниками на лету и на диск не пишутся.
• Журнал подключений: IP-адрес, обозначение браузера, имя комнаты и время. Хранится до 14 дней для разбора неполадок, затем удаляется автоматически.
• Только в вашем браузере: ключ доступа и выбранный язык лежат в localStorage, чтобы не вводить их заново. Ничего не уходит третьим лицам: нет аналитики, рекламы и отслеживающих cookie. Шрифты отдаёт этот же сервер.

Зачем

Законный интерес: безопасная работа частного инструмента. Журнал — необходимый минимум для безопасности и диагностики.

Вы можете спросить, что о вас хранится, попросить это удалить или возразить против обработки — напишите на адрес выше. Хранится почти ничего, поэтому большинство запросов закрывается истечением тех самых 14 дней.
